First complete project in Unity.
This is a fan-rebuild of Gradius, the classic Nintendo side-scroller action/shooter where you control a ship with a variety of potential upgrades.
This remake includes a complete re-build of the 1st level of Gradius: dubbed the 'Classic' build. This level was created to be as true-to-form to the original 1st level as possible. In addition, we added our own 'Custom' level, which implements a new game-mechanic: colored lasers and swappable shields! Your shield is either blue or red, and will provide you with immunity to red or blue damage based upon the color of your shield.
Dev Time: 2.5 weeks (Sept-19 - Oct-07, 2015)

Second complete project in Unity, first original game.
In swarm, the player controls a tank in an alien world, where hundreds of bug-like enemy units are spawned and swarm the player.
Swarm is a game stylistically modeled after overhead 3rd person action shooter 'em ups. Similar to games like "Gauntlet" and "FORCED", the game spawns hordes of units from various "spawners". These spawners are synced up to musical components, providing the soundtrack for the game as your shred through the swarm.
Dev Time: 1.5 weeks (Oct-12 - Oct-21, 2015)
The enemy units are controlled with a standard BOIDs code. Credit for the code goes to Introduction to Game Design, Prototyping, and Development (Part II, Ch. 26), by Jeremy Gibson-Bond. By giving each different unit type a few different parameters, unique behaviours for each type of enemy unit were attained.

Second complete project with my group, Team Beetleborg. Kaiju is a giant-monster simulation game built for VR. The game gives the player the perspective of a monster, terrorizing the quiet city-island nearby.
All controls are look-based; you move in the direction you look, and attack things automatically. The game is not timed, and the player can roam at will. The entire city is comprised of voxels, and is entirely destructible. The voxel engine is Unity asset Cubiquity (Asset Store). The monster used is also a free asset.
This game was built and tested with Oculus DK2 headsets.
Dev Time: 1.5 weeks (Jan-13 - Jan-25, 2016)
